WESTCHESTER LADY
BIO
Westchester Lady is a beautifully rusted 2001 GT performer. The concept for this build was heavily influenced by the 1976 jazz funk classic Westchester Lady by Bob James (not officially associated or affiliated, just a huge fan of the artist and song).
Given the songs title and origins, I felt it was only right to pay tribute and make her beautiful. The colour scheme was always to be rust and white. The introduction of chrome parts where a later addition.
Apart from the rusted frame, the most striking feature of this build are the white Tony Hawk mag’s, with matching white (gum wall) Haro tyres.
The other cool feature on this build would be the denim custom saddle, which was reupholstered from a pair of white vintage 501 Levi jeans with red tab showing ;0)
